Del Mar College through Continuing Education is seeking Welding Instructors for a pool of part-time, hourly assignments. Instructors provide high quality instruction and create a safe learning environment for students. Teach courses at varied times/locations, develop materials, and evaluate student progress.

Minimum qualifications include five years related experience; two years teaching preferred; basic computer skills including email and grading in WebDMC. Open until filled.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years related work experience.
• Two (2) years teaching or training experience preferred.
• Knowledge of welding machines, tools, equipment and related hardware.
• Basic computer skills including internet, email and keyboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality instruction in welding and related disciplines.
• Teach courses at varied times and locations to meet institutional need.
• Develop and use teaching materials to support diverse learners.
• Maintain attendance rosters and submit grade sheets as required.
