Job summary

The ideal candidate will bring 3G/4G structural welding expertise, 6G pipe welding (preferred), and teaching experience in a post‑secondary setting.

Qualifications

• Certificate of completion as a Welder.
• Structural Welding certification 3G/4G.
• Pipe Welding certification 6G (preferred).
• Four years of experience in welding within the last 10 years.
• Teaching experience at the post-secondary level (preferred).
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure student safety in all classes and labs.
• Plan and prepare lesson materials and lab activities.
• Deliver instruction and promote student participation.
• Organize and supervise lab projects and ensure equipment readiness.
• Monitor attendance and document performance.
• Support continuing education and maintain up-to-date curriculum.
• Grade assignments within three workdays.
• Provide office hours and online communication.
• Collaborate with program staff and maintain safety and policies.
