Western Welding Academy is seeking a Welding Instructor to shape the next generation of skilled tradespeople. You will teach MIG, TIG, and stick welding in both classroom and shop settings, while mentoring students toward industry credentials.

As a full-time instructor, you will uphold safety, professionalism, and craftsmanship, helping students develop practical skills and confidence to meet industry demands in a real-world environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional welding experience (pipe or structural).
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, safety protocols, and industry standards.
• Welding certifications (AWS preferred).
• Experience training or mentoring others (instruction experience is a plus).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and inspiring the next generation.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with top-notch welding techniques, safety practices, and professionalism.

What You’ll Do

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work 10-hour shifts, 5 days a week, with flexibility for overtime and occasional evenings/weekends.
• Ability to travel between Western Welding Academy properties in Gillette, WY.
