Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) seeks a welding instructor at the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center in Morganfield, KY. You will teach SMAW, GMAW, FCAW and related processes to youths aged 16–24, guiding skills and career pathways in a structured program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; CWI preferred.
• Certification by AWS or ASME standards is required or preferred.
• Experience teaching welding in SMAW, GMAW, FCAW and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Teach youth welding processes to 16–24 year olds.
• Provide direction, instruction, and assessment in designated areas.
• Coordinate with counselors to support student training and behavior.
• Develop lessons aligned with approved curricula and maintain a safe training environment.
• Document student progress using CIS and other systems.
