Qualifications

• Provide classroom instruction, practical demonstrations, and supervised shop practice.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant welding environment.
• Assess student skills, track progress, and prepare reports as required.
• Prepare students for entry-level welding employment and certification testing.
• Maintain government-furnished tools, equipment, and materials properly.
• Support center policies, student conduct expectations, and vocational readiness goals.

Position Summary

The Welding Instructor provides hands‑on vocational training to students ages 16–24 at the Pine Knot Job Corps Center.
