Qualifications

• HSD/GED required.
• Utah teaching certificate with Welding endorsement or equivalent (CWI/CWE or NCCER certified) and 6G certs.
• Experience with youth; strong communication and computer skills.
• Valid driver license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with instruction in SMAW, GMAW, FCAW-G, FCAW-S, GTAW per D.1.1 welding codes.
• Motivate and counsel students on behavior, training, and study habits.
• Coordinate with counselors to resolve issues affecting training and instruction.
• Develop lessons per approved curriculum and maintain a safe training environment.
