Job summary

Lincoln Tech is seeking a part-time Welding Instructor to join our Welding program in Atlanta, GA. Prior teaching experience is not required—we provide comprehensive training to help you educate and mentor the next generation of welders.

You will deliver lessons, supervise hands-on welding work, and promote safety and professional growth among students in a fully equipped facility. This role offers growth opportunities within a leading career-education institution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years field experience in pipe welding and structural welding, with MIG/TIG/STICK/FCAW processes.
• Willingness to undergo training to teach welding.

Responsibilities

• Teach Welding Technologies Classes using Lincoln Tech's accredited training program.
• Provide Hands-on Training in our fully equipped facility, focusing on student skill development.
• Emphasize Safety and Compliance with safety procedures and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities of Welding Educator:

• Provide Hands-on Training: Offer practical welding experience in our fully equipped facility, focusing on skill development for students.
• Emphasize Safety and Compliance: Teach students the critical importance of safety procedures and industry standards in the welding field.
• Support Student Growth: Foster an environment that encourages professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Motivate and Engage Students: Create a positive and interactive classroom atmosphere to enhance student learning and enthusiasm.
• Evaluate and Communicate Progress: Regularly assess student performance and provide clear feedback on their progress.
• Prepare Students for Successful Careers: Equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a successful and in-demand career in Welding Technology.

Key Requirements of Welding Educator:
