Job summary

PetroSea is seeking a Welder Supervisor to lead and coordinate welding activities on mining sites, ensuring work is performed to high technical standards and safety practices.

The role requires at least 1 year of welding leadership experience in mining, plus knowledge of welding equipment, fabrication practices, and production planning. Fluent English is preferred and willingness to work on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year welding experience in mining in a leadership role.
• Ability to operate welding machines and related equipment.
• Understanding of structural repairs and fatigue patterns and welding procedures.
• Knowledge of production targets and equipment availability planning.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate daily welding activities to ensure technical accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist with development and preventive measures for failure trends.
• Plan welder activities, tools, spare parts, and manpower.
• Prepare and submit required reporting and work order details.
• Review failures and advise on safety and major risks.
