Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an experienced Welder for industrial and construction projects in our Southeast region. The role involves unloading, stacking, and organizing steel, erecting structural steel, and performing welding tasks on job sites.

May assist with minor mechanical repairs and must be able to operate heavy equipment such as manlifts and forklifts. Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years as an Iron Worker/Welder, knowledge of welding techniques (3G, 4G, SMAW), and a strong safety record.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Iron Worker/Welder.
• Strong knowledge of ironworking and welding techniques, including layout and erection.
• Experience with multiple welding processes (3G, 4G, SMAW).
• Excellent safety record and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures on the job site.
• Attend daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Ensure welds meet required standards and specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and material usage.
• Coordinate with other trades and foremen; troubleshoot on-site issues.
• Keep a clean and organized work area; lift and move materials as needed.
