Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as Welder, Fitter, or Fabricator preferred.
• Proficiency with Flux Core/Solid Core welding and other processes (MIG, TIG, FCAW, Stick).
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and fabrication drawings.
• Strong mechanical and fabrication knowledge.
• Experience with ductwork assembly, pipe threading, machining, or soldering is a plus.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and fabrication equipment.
• Basic math and precise measurement taking.
• Work independently and in a team with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding using MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux Core), and Stick welding on various materials.
• Fit, assemble, and weld components according to blueprints and project specs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, measurements, and ASME codes.
• Operate hand tools, plasma cutters, and fabrication equipment.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools for accurate fabrication.
• Safely perform rigging operations and move materials with cranes or forklifts.
• Inspect completed work to meet quality and project requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety policies.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule.
