Job summary

TKO StaffPros is seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. The role focuses on welding and fabrication, reading blueprints and schematics to ensure high-quality welding and assembly for construction and manufacturing projects.

The candidate will work on MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding, interpret ASME codes, and use calipers/micrometers for precision. Strong teamwork and safety adherence are essential for timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints and schematics for fabrication.
• Proficient MIG/TIG/FCAW/STICK welding skills.
• Basic math for measurements and calculations.
• Familiarity with fabrication and ductwork is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ASME codes & standards to determine project specifications.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks.
• Assemble components according to specifications while ensuring accuracy through calipers and micrometers.
• Conduct rigging operations safely while moving materials or components using cranes or forklifts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within deadlines.
