Job summary

Pennsylvania Transformer Technology, LLC seeks a welder/fitter to apply welds per AWS D1.1 and PTTI standards, lay out and fabricate from engineered drawings, and perform minor repairs to welding equipment.

From written and verbal instructions, you will assemble tanks and components, hand burn and grind, and keep the fabrication cell clean and safe. Must be able to work steady 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION: GED or High School diploma. Welding training helpful.
• Must pass welding tests as part of the role.
• Experience with AWS D1.1 or similar welding codes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply welds per AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code and PTTI standards.
• Layout and fabricate from drawings, sketches, and work instructions.
• Perform minor repairs to welding and burning equipment.
