Highland Tank is looking for a 2nd Shift ASME Welder to join our team in Manheim, PA.

Job Duties

• Weld and fabricate various tanks and components to ASME Section VIII Division 1 Code standards. Welding includes FCAW / GMAW, SAW, SMAW
• Obtain company required certification for above within 60 days of hire
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
• Safely operate equipment including overhead cranes (training provided)
• Comfortable using electric grinding equipment
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs., climb ladders, work at heights up to 16 ft., and periodically work in confined spaces
• Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints

Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Plant Manager.

Required Skills

• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Ability to follow written instructions in English in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
