Job summary

Onward Search is seeking a Welder/Fitter for an on-site role in Honey Brook, PA to support an industrial equipment manufacturer. The candidate will weld and fit parts, read drawings, and set up fixtures in a safety‑driven environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of welding and fitting experience, including ASME pressure vessel welding, with proficiency in SAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in an industrial setting is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of welding and fitting experience, including pressure vessel welding to ASME code.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical documents.
• Formal training in Welding Technology or equivalent.
• Must have physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment.
• Proven safety awareness and training in a manufacturing or construction setting.

Responsibilities

• Safely prepare and assemble various alloys for fabrication, welding, and fitting according to drawing specifications.
• Operate and adjust welding machines, plasma cutters, and other fabrication tools to meet project requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and weld procedures to ensure proper assembly.
• Create fixtures and setups to securely hold parts during welding and cutting processes.
• Perform basic nondestructive evaluation (NDE) tests as needed to maintain quality standards.
