Job summary

Scope Services, Inc. invites applications for a Temporary Manual Labor position in Pratt, Bridgman, MI. The role involves welding steel components, reading blueprints, following specifications, and maintaining a safe work area. Expect weeks with 50-60 hours and full-time status.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, welding experience, and the ability to pass a weld test. Preferred: trailer assembly or heavy equipment manufacturing background and welding certifications.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Welding experience required; weld test may be required.
• Trailer assembly and/or heavy equipment manufacturing exp. preferred.
• Vocational or post-secondary education and welding certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Weld steel components per procedures, layouts, blueprints, work orders or verbal instructions.
• Operate related equipment and tools incl. forklifts, grinders, cutting torches, hand tools.
• Read and follow job orders, blueprints and instructions.
• Maintain work performance per Pratt standards and job orders.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment according to procedures.
