Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Welder Fabricator in Michigan City, IN to join the team. You will weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys, fabricate structures to project specs, and ensure weld quality conforms to ISO 9001 standards.

You will operate material handling equipment and work in a temperature‑variable environment. Your role requires 2+ years of MIG/TIG/ARC experience, piping familiarity, blueprint and P&ID literacy, and a safety‑driven mindset.

Competenze

• 2+ years welding experience including MIG, TIG and ARC.
• Experience with piping and stainless steel.
• Ability to read blueprints and P&IDs.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• PWHT experience is a plus.

Mansioni

• Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping to specifications.
• Fabricate parts and structures per project requirements.
• Inspect welds for quality and accuracy per ISO 9001 standards.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work area.
