Job summary

Express Employment of Monroe seeks a Welder/Fabricator with strong MIG and TIG welding skills for production welding, part fabrication, and support work in the laser and forming department. You should be mechanically inclined, motivated to learn, and comfortable in a fast-paced shop environment. Shift is 6am-4:30pm with mandatory overtime.

Qualifications

• MIG and TIG welding experience in a shop setting.
• Ability to read and use standard hand and power tools.
• Must provide your own welding helmet.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metals.
• Grind nickel electroforms, stainless steel rod, and sheet metal.
• Operate saws, belt sanders, cut-off wheels, and additional power tools.
• Use hand tools for fabrication and finishing.
• Operate press equipment (training provided).
• Assist with general shop duties, including cleanup and material handling.
• Support the laser & forming department as needed.
