Job summary

Sportworks, a maker of bike racks, is seeking a production welder for our Monroe, WA facility. This full-time, on-site role involves fabricating high-quality weldments, reading blueprints, and setting up MIG welding processes to spec.

You will work both in teams and individually to hit safety, quality, and throughput targets. The ideal candidate has 1+ year MIG welding experience (or a welding certification) and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year MIG welding experience in a production setting or a welding certification program.
• Basic knowledge of MIG welding processes.
• Able to interpret blueprints and drawings for weld sizes and lengths.
• Good verbal and written communication; able to work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts and weldments using fixtures per customer demand.
• Review blueprints to ensure correct weld sizes and lengths.
• Set up welding equipment and fixtures; lay out material per drawings.
• Ensure welds meet internal quality standards and specs.
• Participate in process improvements and Kaizen events.
• Work collaboratively to meet quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
