Job summary

ALL Crane & Equipment Rental in Nitro, WV is seeking a full-time metal Welder & Fabricator for a shop environment. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, layout measurements, setting up weldments, and performing SMAW welding with related tools while maintaining safety and equipment operation.

Forklifts may be used after training, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered. The ideal candidate will be AWS D1.1 (4G/3G or all positions) qualified, able to read a tape measure, and capable

Qualifications

• Must be qualified under AWS D1.1 Structural Steel Code or equivalent for Overhead (4G) and Vertical (3G) or all positions, SMAW.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings and take/read measurements for layout.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working safely around moving machinery.
• Willingness to work in temperature/humidity fluctuations and dust/fumes environments.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings to layout welds and take measurements.
• Set up components to be welded according to requirements.
• Operate grinders, torches, plasma cutters, and shears.
• Weld components using SMAW process.
• Maintain safety and follow regulations; operate forklifts after training.
