SEETECH LLC is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our Nitro, WV team. The role focuses on TIG welding of aluminum and other metals, fabrication of components, and precision use of CNC and plasma cutting equipment to produce high-quality parts.

You will read drawings, ensure craftsmanship, and maintain equipment while adhering to safety standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Welder/Fabricator in a shop or production setting.
• Hands-on TIG welding experience is required.
• Demonstrated experience welding aluminum and other metals.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum and other metals, ensuring clean, sound welds.
• Fabricate metal components and assemblies per blueprints and work orders.
• Operate CNC cutting equipment to accurately cut and shape parts.
• Use plasma cutting tools to prepare materials for welding and fabrication.
• Inspect finished welds and components for quality and safety compliance.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools; report malfunctions.
• Collaborate with management and production to meet deadlines.
• Adhere to safety protocols during welding and fabrication tasks.

Job Summary

As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for welding, cutting, and fabricating metal components to meet project specifications and quality standards. You will work primarily with aluminum and other metals, utilizing TIG welding techniques along with CNC and plasma cutting equipment to produce accurate, durable parts and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum and other metal materials to produce clean, structurally sound welds
• Fabricate metal components and assemblies according to blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Operate CNC cutting equipment to accurately cut and shape metal parts
• Utilize plasma cutting tools to prepare materials for welding and fabrication processes
• Inspect finished welds and fabricated pieces to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to guide fabrication work
• Maintain welding equipment and tools, performing routine maintenance and reporting malfunctions
• Collaborate with management and production team to meet project deadlines and output goals
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating welding, cutting, and fabrication equipment

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, preferably in a shop or production environment
• Hands‑on experience with TIG welding techniques
• Demonstrated experience welding aluminum and other metal types
• Experience with fabrication processes and reading technical drawings
• Familiarity with CNC cutting equipment
• Experience with plasma cutting tools and techniques
• Ability to lift and move materials as required by the role
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional welding certifications (e.g., AWS certification)
• Experience with other welding methods such as MIG or stick welding
• Prior experience in a the mining industry or a similar shop setting
• Basic knowledge of metal properties and material handling best practices
