Job summary

Crane 1 Services is seeking a dependable Welder/Fabricator to join our Tulsa shop. You will fabricate and assemble in a busy shop, interpreting blueprints and specs to meet project requirements while using a variety of tools including weld machines, plasma cutters, and cranes.

You will weld carbon, manganese, and stainless steels to AWS standards, cut and prep materials, and complete QC documents. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a willingness to learn multiple skills in a supportive

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of structural steel fabrication in a production shop.
• AWS 14.1 SMAW (stick) and FCAW (flux core) certification requirements.
• Experience welding fabrications and performing weld repairs per AWS codes and in-house specs.
• Familiarity with overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Weld (carbon, manganese, and stainless steel) and fabricate industrial lifting magnets per AWS standards.
• Cut (plasma arc/torch), clean, and prep all welding materials.
• Review work orders and retrieve necessary materials.
• Read prints/layouts and fabricate according to specifications.
• Prepare, construct, and finish welds.
