Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Welder to join our growing manufacturing team. You will weld and fabricate metal components while following blueprints and production specifications in a fast-paced environment that values quality and consistency.

Responsibilities include operating welding equipment, reading blueprints, setting up fabrication machinery, and inspecting finished work for accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous welding and metal fabrication experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment to join and fabricate metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production specifications.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including drill presses, punch presses, saws, shears, brakes, grinders, and other machinery.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, smooth, and finish metal.
• Perform welding and fabrication according to quality standards.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Assist with other production duties as assigned.
