Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years welding and fabrication experience or a 2-year welding diploma/degree program, or relevant work.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational skill.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of industry safety practices.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Welding/fabrication and repair of containers, and waste vehicle equipment.
• Designing and fabricating equipment and parts.
• Maintain routine inventory supplies for the welding unit.
• Read and interpret project plans and diagrams.
• Comply with all safety requirements to maintain a safe work area.
