Job summary

Smyrna Ready Mix LLC is seeking a skilled Fabricator / Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will fabricate, weld, and assemble metal components for mixer trucks, ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years MIG welding or fabrication experience, carbon steel welding, and the ability to read a tape measure. You must pass a welding test, own a welding helmet, and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of MIG welding and fabrication experience.
• Prior carbon steel welding, grinding and cutting experience.
• Welding certificates are a plus but not required.
• Component assembly using metal fabrication equipment to meet design requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work with steel fabrication and welding elements.
• Perform tasks with quality and efficiency.
• Have working knowledge of metal materials and mechanical aptitude.
• Safely use hand and power tools.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and good attendance.
• Pass a welding test and own a welding helmet.
• Stand for long periods.
• Read a tape measure and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Support teamwork and maintain a clean workspace.
• Follow all safety practices and pass pre-hire checks.
