Job summary

Hollingshead Mixer Company is seeking hard-working, self-motivated Welder/Fabricators to join our team. You will work on steel fabrication and welding projects, require the ability to read a tape measure, and perform tasks with quality while meeting deadlines.

The role emphasizes safety and teamwork, with a requirement to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Weekend availability may be required, and we offer a benefits package with multiple insurances and PTO.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years MIG welding and/or fabrication experience.
• Welding certificates a plus but not required.
• Pass a pre-hire drug screen and a background check.
• Operate metal fabrication equipment to meet end-use design requirements.

Job Requirements include:

• Working with various elements of steel fabrication and welding
• Required to perform assigned tasks with a high degree of quality and efficiency.
• Must have a working knowledge of metal materials and mechanical aptitude.
• Safe use of both hand and power tools.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a solid attendance record.
• Pass a welding test and own a welding helmet.
• Be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely, read a tape measure, work on multiple projects at a time, in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by actions, communicating and teamwork.
• Follow all safe work practices.
• Keep a clean and organized workspace.
• Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screen and a background check

Experience:

• 2-3 years MIG welding and or fabrication experience
• Prior carbon steel welding, grinding, and cutting experience.
• Welding certificates a plus but not required.
• Component assembly, operating metal fabrication equipment including saws, drills, and grinders that are associated with steel fabrication to meet end-use design requirement.
