Job summary

Lenocker Metal Fab in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join our fabrication team. Read blueprints, fit up weldments, and operate welding equipment across various positions.

You will weld components using FCAW-G and GMAW, follow safety procedures, and maintain a clean work area. Applicants must read shop drawings, work independently, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds; training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Read shop drawings and weld symbols.
• Fit-up weldments using hand tools.
• Operate welding machines and grinders.
• Weld components in multiple positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
• Maintain safe, clean work area and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Use tape measures, levels, squares and hand tools to fit weldments.
• Operate angle grinders, saws, forklifts and welding machines.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment in various positions.
• Maintain PPE and safety practices to keep a clean, safe work area.
• Keep equipment in good working order and safe to use.
