Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a welding certification program.
• Previous welding and metal fabrication experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum per specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders to fabricate parts and assemblies.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, shears, saws, grinders, and plasma cutters.
• Measure, cut, and assemble metal components to precise tolerances.
• Inspect welds and fabricated components for quality and structural integrity.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools for safe operation.
• Follow safety protocols including use of PPE and OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
