Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking an experienced Welding & Fabrication Instructor to lead hands-on training and curriculum development in the Rocky Mountain region. You will teach welding techniques, demonstrate CNC plasma tables and automated cutters, and mentor students in safety, measurement, and project work.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in welding/fabrication with strong communication skills and a willingness to work with digital shop tools and grading software.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of welding and fabrication experience.
• Background in blueprint reading, cutting techniques and shop safety.
• Familiarity with CNC and digital shop tools or willingness to learn.
• A strong communicator with a team-focused mindset.
• Certifications like AWS or API are a plus but not required.
• Able to quickly learn digital training systems.

Responsibilities

• Teach welding techniques (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW) through lectures and hands-on shop instruction.
• Demonstrate equipment use including CNC plasma tables and automated cutters.
• Support students with shop safety, measuring, layout, and cutting.
• Utilize grading software and collaborate on curriculum development and projects.
