Job summary

Senesco Marine, LLC is seeking a Weld Support/Equipment Repair person to perform repairs and routine maintenance on welding equipment in a shipyard setting. The role requires inspecting systems, managing parts inventory and ensuring adherence to safety procedures.

Applicants should have 1–4 years of welding equipment experience, be a self-starter, and communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates. Excellent attendance and timely task completion are expected.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years’ experience in welding equipment, maintenance and repair.
• Ability to inspect welders, airlines, gas lines and leads for wear and leaks.
• Read and understand service, parts and equipment manuals; notify when parts fall below levels.
• Supply welders with MIG guns and feeders in proper working order.
• Detail oriented with quality workmanship and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and maintenance of welding equipment as needed.
• Inspect welding equipment to identify potential problems and prevent failures.
• Maintain inventory levels and document release of parts and supplies.
• Communicate issues and discrepancies to supervisor clearly and promptly.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and meet budgeted timeframes.
