Qualifications

• 1-4 years' experience in welding equipment, maintenance and repair.
• Maintain inventory levels and document release of parts and supplies.
• Check weld machine airlines, gas lines, and welding leads for wear, breaks and leaks.
• Check flow meters for damages.
• Read and understand equipment, service and parts manuals; notify supervisors when parts or supplies fall below required levels.
• Supply welders with mig guns and feeders in proper working order.
• Perform thorough welding equipment inspections and identify potential problems that could cause equipment failure.
• Be a self-starter with minimal supervision; communicate clearly in writing and orally.

Responsibilities

• Repair welding equipment and perform necessary maintenance.
• Inspect welding equipment, airlines, gas lines, and leads for wear or leaks.
• Maintain inventory and document release of parts and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Provide timely reporting of problems and discrepancies to supervisors.
