Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Welding Engineering Supervisor to lead the Welding Engineering team within BEPD. The role includes project execution, technical leadership, and workforce development with a hybrid work arrangement at Rock Hill, SC or Cranberry Township, PA.

You will report to the BEPD Director and collaborate with Welding Consulting Engineer, Technical Lead, and cross-functional teams to deliver welding-related engineering across multiple programs and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Welding, Civil, Structural or related engineering field.
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience leading teams, coordinating resources, and executing work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Welding Engineering team across Westinghouse programs and projects.
• Manage workload, priorities, staffing plans, schedules, and delivery.
• Lead workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, and development.
• Mentor, coach, and performance manage team members.
• Coordinate with project teams and external partners to meet goals.
• Drive continuous improvement of welding processes, tools, and documentation.
• Communicate status, risks, and needs to BEPD leadership.
