Job summary
Westinghouse Electric Company in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Welding Engineer 2 to support development and troubleshooting of welding-related requirements for nuclear power plant fabrication, erection, and maintenance. You will report to the Lead Engineer of Welding Technologies, with a hybrid work model requiring 2 days per week on-site at Rock Hill or Cranberry Township.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Welding Engineering Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Welding Engineer or related position.
- Familiarity with shop travelers, weld maps, and control of welding procedures from receipt inspection through production floor execution.
Responsibilities
- Review contract, design, and regulatory requirements to develop project welding specifications.
- Review weld maps, PQRs, WPSs, and Welding Programs to ensure conformance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with Global Supply Chain and Supplier Performance Engineering to support fab-follow activities.
- Participate in constructability and design reviews.
- Assist in evaluating weld failures and nonconformances.
