Job summary

Venteon in Belleville, Michigan seeks a Welding Engineer to lead maintenance and welding process improvements for automotive manufacturing. You will oversee robotic welding systems, improve weld parameters, and ensure equipment reliability on the plant floor.

Qualifications

Previous Welding Engineering Experience in a Manufacturing Plant Setting is Required.
Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university; five years plus related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
Strong Electrical Maintenance Troubleshooting Skills; Metal Stamping and Manufacturing Maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform, recommend, and develop preventative maintenance procedures for welding equipment and robotic systems.
Evaluate processes to improve weld parameters and weld efficiency.
Install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment.
Provide emergency and scheduled maintenance repairs during production and downtime.
Lead new job startups and engineering changes, including PPAP runs and spare parts inventory.
