Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in welding engineering or related field.
  • Experience with welding procedures, anomaly assessments, and NDE documentation.
  • Knowledge of API 1104, ASME Section IX, and related welding standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership for pipeline welding and NDE to support integrity, operations, maintenance, and capital projects.
  • Develop, review, and approve WPSs, PQRs, and welder qualifications.
  • Develop and update welding and NDE specifications, procedures, and manuals.
  • Conduct welding and NDE audits of vendors, contractors, fabrication facilities, and construction activities.
  • Review and approve welding and NDE documentation including WPSs, PQRs, welder qualifications, fabrication drawings, and NDE specifications.
  • Support pipeline integrity programs through anomaly assessments and repair evaluations.
