The candidate will lead laboratory operations, develop procedures, and prepare technical reports while collaborating with fabrication vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Welding Engineering or related field with required years of experience.
• Experience making technical presentations and leading laboratory operations.
• US citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.
• Familiarity with repair technologies and welding processes (GTAW, GMAW, SMAW) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to identify, research, test, and evaluate repair technologies.
• Plan, follow, and execute work efforts; contribute to technical instructions and procedures.
• Track procurement actions and budget performance; prepare technical submittals and recommendations.
• Travel to vendors and shipyards to support project planning, equipment testing and repair deployment.
• Report project performance within Navarro’s repair technology development community.
