The role involves planning, testing, and reporting on welding repair techniques, collaborating with fabricators, vendors, and shipyards, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project schedules.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Welding Engineering or related field from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum 5 years (BS) or 3 years (MS) of relevant experience.
• Ability to lead/execute lab operations, present technical information, and write technical submittals.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, evaluate, and qualify repair procedures in the laboratory.
• Plan and execute work programs; track procurement actions and budget performance.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations; interact with vendors and shipyards as needed.
