Responsibilities

• Provide welding engineering services for Mount Vernon, Indiana products.
• Assist welders and supervisors during critical welding operations.
• Review customer contract requirements and develop procedures accordingly.
• Determine weld filler metal needs and procure materials.
• Assess welding equipment needs and assist in design and ordering.
• Review codes and write welder qualification procedures.
• Drive quality and productivity improvements in welding operations.
• Prepare and review welding/fabrication plans and setup sheets.
• Qualify, document, and maintain welding procedures and welders.
