What You'll Do:

• Innovate & Optimize: Develop and refine welding process standards and work instructions, focusing on continuous improvement, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Lead & Train: Guide and train production teams on advanced welding techniques and procedures.
• Design & Implement: Create custom welding fixtures and jigs using CAD software, ensuring designs meet operational needs.
• Ensure Quality: Maintain stringent quality control, adhering to AWS, ISO, and other key standards. You'll investigate defects and implement lasting corrective actions.
• Analyze & Report: Prepare and review inspection reports, welding procedure specifications (WPS), and maintain precise records of processes and improvements.

What You'll Bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Welding Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in various welding processes (MIG, TIG, SMAW, FCAW) and materials.
• Proficiency in CAD software for fixture design.
• Familiarity with AWS, ASME, and ISO welding standards.
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Welding Engineer certification is a plus!
• Experience with automation and robotic welding systems and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies are highly valued.
• Competitive Salary: $80,000 - $135,000 annually (based on experience)
• Quarterly Bonus: 8% payout
