We’re on the hunt for a Senior Welding Engineer ready to lead from the front—whether it’s optimizing welds for mission-critical components or solving complex metallurgy challenges. What You’ll Do:

• Develop and manage welding procedures and qualifications for critical structural and seal welds

• Apply deep expertise in FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW, SMAW, and PTAW

• Support engineering and manufacturing teams with hands-on problem-solving and technical leadership

• Interpret material specifications and deliver welds that meet x-ray quality standards

• Collaborate across departments to optimize quality, timelines, and cost-efficiency

Must-Haves:

• U.S. Citizenship (DoD compliance)

• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgy, or Materials Science

• 6+ years of hands-on welding or manufacturing engineering experience

• Fluency in major welding codes (ASME, AWS, NAVSEA)

• Working knowledge of carbon, alloy, stainless, nickel, and copper-based materials

• Solid grasp of welding metallurgy and material behavior

• Proven communicator and cross-functional collaborator

• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement

Nice to Have:

• M.S. in Welding or Materials Engineering

• Experience mentoring junior engineers

• Exposure to supplier qualification and audits
