Job summary

Lincoln Tech in Denver seeks an experienced welding instructor to turn industry know-how into student success. You’ll teach Welding Technologies, lead labs in a fully equipped welding facility, and model safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; teaching background not required but beneficial.
• Minimum 3+ years welding experience in pipe and/or structural welding across MIG/TIG/STICK/FCAW.
• Familiarity with Plasma Cutting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach an accredited Welding Technologies program blending fundamentals with practical application.
• Lead immersive labs in a fully outfitted welding facility—students learn by doing.
• Instill a safety-first mindset and align training with current industry standards.
• Cultivate professionalism, responsibility, and continuous improvement.
• Use interactive methods to keep students engaged and motivated.
• Evaluate progress frequently and communicate actionable feedback.
• Equip learners with competencies for high-demand welding roles.
