Allegion Access Technologies LLC is hiring a Material Strider for the Welding Department at our Snoqualmie, WA facility. You will verify materials, stage weldments, and support production flow, reporting to the Welding Supervisor.

The role requires prior manufacturing experience, attention to detail, and ERP familiarity (Dynamics 365). Expect a 5S-focused environment with safety first and room for growth within a structured team.

Welding Department Material Strider – Technical Glass Products – Snoqualmie, WA

Allegion is seeking a Material Strider on our production Welding team to fulfill a full‑time position in Snoqualmie, WA at our Technical Glass Products facility. This Material Strider reports to our Welding Supervisor and is responsible for verifying the correct materials and quantities are supplied to the welding team to keep production flowing efficiently and on‑time.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, overtime as needed

What You Will Do:

• Audit job folders, job carts and staging racks.


• Verify hardware is accurately delivered using provided BOM.


• Prep all weld joints.


• Stage weldments in staging racks.


• Stage jobs correctly according to nearest ship dates.


• Take the initiative to research and resolve material related problems.


• Communicate, monitor, and expedite shortages.


• Maintain work areas according to 5S principles daily.


• Fulfill assigned specific daily and weekly job assignments as outlined by supervisor that meet departmental and company goals.


• Visually inspect materials and follow disposal standard operating process.


• Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures to support Weld Dept. activities.


• Understand and comply with all appropriate safety and work safety regulations.


• Continuously maintain a clean work area including the cleanup and disposal of trash, production scrap, and material drop‑off. Assist in cleaning common areas.


• Other duties as assigned

What You Need to Succeed:

• Prior manufacturing experience. Prior welding experience or training preferred.


• Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and prioritizing multiple tasks along with meeting deadlines.


• Ability to navigate a computer and be trained on ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365)


• Detail-oriented, accurate, dependable and willing to accept a wide variety of assignments


• Good verbal and written communication skills


• Follow all safety requirements and keep work area clean and orderly

Physical Demands:

• Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle parts and tools with precision.


• Repetitive Motion: Perform repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, kneeling,stooping,lifting, gripping, and grasping with hands.


• Standing Duration: Ability to standfor up to10 hours per shift.


• Lifting Requirements: Ability tolift upto50lbs.


• Lift Assist Devices: Use of overhead crane and forklift with training may be required.


• Environmental Exposure: Ability to work in environments with noise, chemicals, dust,sharp objects,moving/rotating mechanical parts, andtemperature extremes.


• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Respirator, fall protection, welding hood, etc. may be required depending on job duty and/or work area

Employment Type : Full-time, hourly non-exempt

Compensation:

• The expected Base Hourly Range: $23-24. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
