Philips in Latham, NY is seeking a Welder to join our onsite team manufacturing MRI magnets. You will complete high quality TIG and MIG welds, fabricate intricate cryogenic assemblies, and read drawings and supporting documents.

Requires 1+ year welding experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to perform vacuum leak-tight TIG welds on aluminum. Crane and forklift experience is a plus. This is a 1st shift onsite role, Monday–Friday 7:20pm–3:30pm.

Qualifications

• 1+ year welding experience required.
• Experience using mechanical assembly tools is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and supporting documents.

Responsabilités

• Complete high quality TIG and MIG welds using precision instruments.
• Fabricate intricate cryogenic assemblies including cutting, bending, drilling, tapping.
• Read and interpret drawings and supporting documents.
