Job summary

Flex-N-Gate LLC. is seeking a Weld Technician to operate welding processes, maintain and optimize welding applications across Panasonic, Fanuc, ABB and Nachi robotics. You will also manage PLC backups (Allen Bradley, Omron) and adjust weld schedules to meet drawing specs.

The role supports production and maintenance to troubleshoot equipment, lead continuous improvement projects, and participate in PFMEA and 8D reports to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in welding technology or equivalent experience.
• Experience with welding equipment and robotics in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities; able to follow guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify and maintain Welding Applications using multiple robotics brands.
• Maintain PLC backups for welding equipment.
• Adjust weld schedules and fixtures to meet drawings and quality specs.
• Troubleshoot welding equipment and support maintenance to improve plant efficiency.
• Participate in 8D problem solving and PFMEA processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost reductions.
