Job summary

gpac has partnered with an established welding automation company to recruit a Welding Application Engineer. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Welding Engineering and bring 5+ years of hands-on experience in welding automation, including MIG, TIG, resistance, and robotic arc welding.

Knowledge of AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX is preferred. Familiarity with ABB or FANUC robotics, offline programming, CAD, and CWI or CWEng certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Welding Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in welding automation industry.
• Hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, resistance, and robotic arc welding.
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX; ABB/FANUC robotics and CAD; CWI CWEng certification a plus.
