Job summary

gpac partners with an established welding automation company seeking a Welding Application Engineer to drive advanced welding solutions in a manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes hands-on MIG/TIG, resistance, and robotic arc welding, with a focus on process optimization and weld quality across production lines.

Candidates should bring knowledge of AWS D1.1 and ASME IX, plus exposure to ABB/FANUC robotics, offline programming, CAD, and applicable certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Welding Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in the welding automation industry.
• Hands-on knowledge of MIG, TIG, resistance, and robotic arc welding.
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX.
• ABB or FANUC robotics, offline programming, CAD, and CWI or CWEng certification a plus.
