gpac has partnered with an established welding automation company seeking a Welding Application Engineer. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Welding Engineering (or equivalent experience) and bring 5+ years in welding automation.

You will work hands-on with MIG, TIG, resistance, and robotic arc welding, with familiarity of ABB/FANUC robotics, offline programming, CAD, and related certifications as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Welding Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in the welding automation industry.
• Hands-on knowledge of MIG, TIG, resistance, and robotic arc welding.
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX.
• ABB or FANUC robotics, offline programming, CAD, and CWI or CWEng certification a plus.
