Job summary

Sabre Industries is seeking a skilled Longseam Welder to join our production team in a structured, safety‑driven environment. You will perform 100% penetration welds on shafts seams using FCAW, GMAW, or SAW and interpret drawings, flatsheets, and specifications daily.

You will also inspect weld quality, set up machines, adjust parameters, and operate the overhead crane to position components. The role demands attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work outdoors in shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred
• Proficiency with reading complex prints and specifications
• Ability to properly use a weld gauge
• Regular and timely attendance required

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of weld seams for quality
• Read drawings or flatsheets to determine 100% penetration welds
• Grind and prep areas for welding
• Adjust welding machine settings to meet procedures
• Weld with FCAW, GMAW, or SAW to achieve full penetration
• Read specifications and codes to determine preheat requirements
• Operate overhead crane to position work and move poles
• Maintain daily production logs and communicate progress
• Weld other products in area as needed
• Inspect welds for straightness and quality; assist others to improve output
