Job summary

Contech Engineered Solutions LLC in Abingdon, Virginia is seeking a skilled Welder to join our plant team. You will read blueprints, interpret welding procedures, and perform MIG and Stick welding to build drainage systems, pipes, bridges, and structures.

Qualifications

About the Role

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures to ensure accurate welding.
• Uses template, pattern, scribe, etc. to mark and lay out material.
• Aligns and assembles product for welding using crane, lever hoist ,chains, etc.
• Uses cutting or plasma torch to burn to precision layout.
• Adheres to safety protocols to create a secure work environment.
