We are looking for a WELDER to join our Charlotte, NC plant. As a Welder with Contech, you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure, including drainage systems, pipes, bridges, structures, and stormwater management.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures to ensure accurate welding
• Using templates, patterns, scribes, etc., to mark and lay out material
• Aligning and assembling products for welding using cranes, lever hoists, chains, etc.
• Using cutting or plasma torches to burn to precision layout
• Adhering to safety protocols to create a secure work environment

About You

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG and Stick welding
• Technical training or welding experience (strongly preferred)
• Ability to work with precision instruments
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills
