Position: Weld Machine Operator

Responsibilities include:

  1. Operating a weld machine on a production line welding various pipes while meeting daily production goals.
  2. Reading and interpreting blueprints/sketches and preparing materials accordingly.
  3. Adjusting weld parameters and machine settings to ensure conformity with specifications.
  4. Inspecting welds for non-conformance, missing welds, and performing repairs or rework as necessary.
  5. Performing daily machine maintenance.
  6. Inspecting pipes for quality issues and correct end preparation.
  7. Utilizing strong math skills frequently.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years of welding experience, with skill level to obtain 2G certification.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to read a tape measure, perform simple math calculations, and read blueprints.
